The Red and Black Alliance reacted for the killing of two Albanians in
Macedonia, appealing against anti-Albanian racism in the neighbor
country.
The Alliance expressed its condolences to the families of Besnik Shehapi and Imran Mehmeti.
“We lost two Albanian brothers. Let’s unite with the pain of this tragedy. We demand the authors to be punished”, the Alliance declared.
“The anti-Albanian racism in Macedonia must stop”, the RBA declared, inviting the Albanians in the neighboring country to keep distance from provocations.
The two Albanians were killed with firearms by a Macedonian Police agent, over a banal parking dispute.
The police agent was not in service, and with the conflict escalating, he used his weapon to shoot the Albanians.
The US Ambassador in Skopje, Poll Wohlers, asked for respective investigations and appealed for the judicial process to be welcomed with calm.
“This happens to people who are involved in two different ethnic groups. I believe that the rule of law will dominate. We all must wait calmly for the investigation, because this is how the rule of law function”, Paul Wohlers declared.
The opposition party RDK says that this event kills the co-existence in Macedonia, and they want the Police Spokesperson discharged, who declared on TV that the police agent had killed them on self-defense.
