Rama’s Independence Day felicitation from Prishtina

The Socialist leader, Edi Rama, felicitated all Albanians from
Prishtina. On the third day of his visit in Kosovo, he was received by
the Kosovo President, Atifete Jahjaga; the leader of the Democratic
League of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa and the leader of the Self-Determination
Movement, Albin Kurti.

During the meeting with the President of Kosovo, the Socialist leader declared that the aspiration of the new generations for EU integration must be realized. President Jahjaga valued the achievements in Albania, and declared that the Parliamentary democracy has achieved a success.

Rama presented the Socialist Party program for the unification of the education system at the Self-Determination Movement. Although agreeing on many matters, Edi Rama and Albin Kurti share different opinions about the National Unification.

In the meeting with the leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo were discussed the latest developments in Albania and Kosovo, focusing on the Northern events.

Rama met today the Kosovo Parliament Speaker, Jakup Krasniqi, and representatives from the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo.

The Socialist leader stayed this Sunday in Gllogjan, Decan, where he was received by the leader of the head of the Haradinaj Family, Hilmi Haradinaj.

“It is an honor for me that this great family found some minutes for receiving me. I hope Ramush to be released as soon as possible, and I congratulate all Albanians for this important day for all of us”, declared the Socialist leader.
