Linda Rama: Between Family, Work and Albania’s Future The opposition leader, Edi Rama, met the residents of Librazhd today,
where he discussed the crime rate situation. Rama declared that the
order and security in Albania has degraded and the society is facing
monstrous crimes.
Rama declared that the Socialist government will return order and security within the first 300 days, through a decent police force.
“Who touches an Albanian citizen, will have to face the State police. After June 23rd, there will be nor mercy for anyone, no matter how heavy his grades, if he touches the property or the physical safety of any citizen”, Rama declared.
Other members of the “Revival Team”, such as Eglantina Gjermeni, Arben Ahmetaj, Tualant Balla and Ilir Beqja, discussed further points of the SP program. Rama declared that Albania’s revival will come through the revival of the Albanian farmers and domestic agricultural production. The health care, according to Rama, is another important point of the program which will provide treatment even to people who are unable to pay for it, and everyone will be equal.
“Poor and rich; northern or southern; farmers or city residents; all of them will be treated equally. It doesn’t matter if they have money or not”, Rama promised.
Education will be related with the job market. Rama said that a special structure that will be established to enable this connection, SP will apply one of the best practices used by developed countries.
“A professional education student works in a company and is paid less than all workers, but that salary will give him a clear idea that he can become rich with that profession. The problem with Albania is that jobs do not provide enough money, that’s why we have the highest number of gamblers, with youth shouting after Cristiano Ronaldo, hoping that he will score a goal so that they can earn some money”, Rama declared.
