The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, reacted on Twitter after the Foreign Ministers of the EU decided to postpone the opening of the accession negotiations to June 2019, after France, Netherlands and Denmark expressed their reserves.
“After 72 hours of long debates among the EU, Albania received the date for entering the EU port”, Rama wrote on social networks.
“The results of our reforms made it possible that even the most sceptical countries recognized the merit of Albania and Macedonia. A very difficult battle was won”, Rama wrote.
