Live on social networks, PM Rama answered to the accusations of the
Democratic Party about the Peshkopia Boulevard and the Arber Road. Rama
rejected the DP claims that they had left everything ready to start the
works for that road.
“Why didn’t they start the construction? Which government has the capability to build a road and doesn’t do it? They did not start it because they didn’t leave anything. All they left was an agreement in principle for a loan from the Chinese government”, Rama said.
The PM said that different from them, his government is negotiating with the Chinese government for another funding formlula. “We are looking for a public-private partnership, through which we will do what we can to invest, despite the propaganda of our opposition”, Rama said.
“We will build the Arber road so that we don’t end up in financial pits like those that caused the 2013 collapse”, he continued.
