Rama visits Czech Republic, 5 agreements signed

The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, attended a visit to the Czech
Republic where he signed five cooperation agreements in tourism,
education, environment, natural catastrophes and pension recognition.

Rama valued the cooperation between the two countries, but said there still more that can be done.

The Czech counterpart, Sobotka, expressed the support of the Czech Republic for the integration of Albania and al Western Balkan in the EU. He said that the Czech companies are interested and have what to offer to the Albanian market, mainly in infrastructure, tourism and gas.

Sobotka valued the increased cooperation between Albania and Serbia, and said that it should deepen. Rama said that what happened last year in Belgrade belongs to the future, and this was shown by the match in Elbasan Arena.

The high number of Czech tourists is also a strong connection bridge. Rama said this year they came in 14.000. He invited others to come and visit Albania’s hospitality and food.
