Rama: Tourism, real source of economic growth

“Tourism is one of the real sources of economic growth. We are working to create the right conditions and improve its quality. The last year was very encouraging for tourism in the aspect of quantity, not quality. There are more tourists coming from Northern Europe, however there is still more to do throughout the entire coastline. We need to invest for energy and other basic services. I think that if we get a better coordination with the private operators, we will attract more tourists”, Rama declared.

Rama added that the public-private partnership is a key mechanism for developing economy, and it is part of the philosophy of his government.
