Rama: “Today’s protest, a joke. Municipal markets not included in VAT”

The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, wrote on Facebook that today’s protest is a joke, with politicians playing with citizens, since the markets, who are protesting, are not included in the VAT system.
“The protest of municipal markets is a joke made by politicians who don’t have a fatherland. Markets are not included in VAT. We zeroed the Small Business Tax and VAT for them will not increase the tax burden but will guarantee a better control of the bigger ones”, Rama wrote.
