Linda Rama: Between Family, Work and Albania’s Future The opposition leader, Edi Rama, expressed his personal gratitude to the
Socialist Party for the thousands of Albanians throughout the world who
answered positively to the online initiative of the Socialist Party
“Raise the Flag”, writing their dreams for Albania in the future.
“Today I want to greet the 10101 Facebook users who within three weeks gave an extraordinary vivacity to our online project “Raise the Flag”, by sharing their dream with us. Thousands of dreams for tomorrow became this way part of a beautiful collection within everyone who raised the flag by sharing their dream with us. After electing 100 winners based on the number of likes, the project will be finalized at the ‘Petro Marko’ theatre in Vlore, on November 28th”, Rama declared.
Edi Rama underlines the 100th anniversary celebration by emphasizing the need to make a comprehensive celebration.
“This is the 100th anniversary of common people, of the dreams and hopes of people who want and deserve this 100th anniversary, and who deserve real employment, honest taxes support for their businesses, public service that fulfils their needs and doesn’t empty their pockets, a stable development and not a further degradation of the country, hence, on 28 November we will gather in Vlore with the 100 dreams that were gathered by the participants of this project, and we will share with them our dream for an Albanian Renaissance. ‘I have a dream’ is the activity that will be concluded with common people and for common people the celebrations of our 100th anniversary. The common people will be spectators and protagonists at the same time”, Rama declared.
The opposition leader ended the press release by saying that he looks forward to meet the 100 elected people who were chosen on Facebook.
