Rama: State police, a nest of militants

The opposition leader, Edi Rama, visited the town of Lezhe where he
discussed the Socialist program for the public order. Rama accused the
government of turning the state police into a nest of DP militants.

“If we want to fight crime and rebuild the police, we must cut the connections between the crime and the Interior Ministry. The highest Police leaders are connected with the organized crime, and they cooperate with them”, Rama declared.

“This is the reason why there are more victims among the police officers, because they are betrayed in their operations by their leaders”, Rama added.

The opposition leader said that they need an urgent change, since justice has turned into a commercial service that is given only to those who pay.

“All services of this state have turned into commercial goods. They don’t care about the constitution and laws. These services can be bought only with money. People have less money on their hands, and the Prime Minister says that we should be happy with the money he is giving each year. Don’t wait for justice in Courts if you don’t have a government that leads the country with justice. The government should not be unjustwith citizens, so that the judges will not dare do such a thing”, Rama declared.

The opposition leader promised a new system that would guarantee public order and safety, referring to them with professionalism.

“We need the police so that individuals don’t feel unprotected throughout Albania. We need a state to guarantee the property and security of everyone”, Rama declared.
