The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, during today’s meeting with the
Kosovo Prime Minister, held for inaugurating the Commission that will organize
the Pan-National Year of George Kastriot Skanderbeg, declared that this
initiative will serve as the guiding star for a better future for
all Albanians.
“We want the Skanderbeg Year to serve as a motive for renewing our ties, as a guiding star of our joint path, towards a better future for all Albanians. The structure of the Commission for Organizing the Skanderbeg Year will be under the symbolic care of Albanian and Kosovo Presidents”, Rama declared.
Rama added that “this is not a year of usual annual memorial ceremonies, but for common Albanians and every children of the Albanian nation to give their best for their countries, through processes and initiatives which will contribute to a better tomorrow, and through which the national pride serves to the nation’s future.”
