The Socialist leader, Edi Rama, is attending a meeting of the Socialist
International Committee for Southeastern Europe, in Thessalonica, from
where he said that the electoral reform process is a guarantee for the
citizens and that what happened will not be repeated. He declared that
the Socialist Party will win the elections of 2013, because the ballots
will not be touched.

“Every electoral reform has been object of debates. What we need is to guarantee a seires of aspects, even the dark aspects of the electoral process, and I believe that we are in the process of doing it. We will have new guarantees that make a good basis for saying to the citizens that what has happened will not be repeated, and that we will win in 2013, because your vote will not be touched, and that the process will be open and transparent”, Rama declared.

“Democracy, economy, society and the European future” was the discussion topic at the Committee, where Rama is Co-Chairman.

“The Committee is made of the Socialist and Social Democratic leaders of Balkan, and we are gathered today to discuss the challenges related with economy, society, democracy and everything that should incarnate the left party in this time of crisis”, Rama declared.
