Small business welcomes the tax removals promised by the SP, saying that it will help self-employed people.

In a meeting with the opposition leader, Edi Rama, the self-employed in Elbasan declared that the buying power has plunged and their clients owe them endless debts, which is a clear indication of the difficult economic situation.

“I have the debt list here. Three blocks. I still give them food, because I feel sorry for the people, but this is our history. We are in a very bad situation”, a saleswoman declared.

“I paid the fiscal case from my reserves, but I am still working with a debt list”, another one complained.

Rama declared that the intervention will be radical. “Small business needs a radical intervention, in order to facilitate all administrative burdens, so that they can finally end this suffocation. This is a massive economic and social degradation and needs urgent measures”, Rama declared.

The first promise made by the SP is removing the small business tax, trusting that this will help 70.000 self-employed families.

SP also promised a quick application of the progressive tax which will make those who earn more pay more, and those who earn less will pay less.
