Rama: Prosecution to investigate Ruli

The Socialist Leader, Edi Rama asked the respective authorities to prosecute the
former Minister of Economy, Genc Ruli, who changed the agreement with
the ACR Company when he was on duty, making a law violating by taking a
decision that should be made only by the Parliament.

“With Bulqize, law has been violated”, Rama declared in today’s SP Parliamentary meeting.

Speaking about the parliamentary reform, Rama underlined that the regulation amends are indispensable and the normal functioning of the Parliament is a main task for the European Commission.

The Socialist MP and the SP leader for Tirana, Sajmir Tahiri, reiterated the accusations against Genc Ruli and the Vice General Chief of the State Police, Agron Kulicaj, alleging that he is conencted the chrome smuggle and other violations in the mining sector.

Regardless the suit of the two high-rank officials, Mr. Tahiri declared that the Socialists will continue their investigations for the repeated scandals, not only Kulicaj and Ruli, but also other local leaders.

“I did not lie when I said that in Bulqize a silent Gerdec is being consumed. I haven’t lied when I have said that the miners are suffering the corruption of the government officials. I haven’t lied when I said that today there is smuggle going on with the mines, and I haven’t lied that Genc Ruli has postponed the fines for the concessionary company in Bulqize”, MP Tahiri declared.
