The Socialist Party organized a meeting dedicated to the property issue,
which has not found a solution even 20 years after the fall of the
communist regime.
Rama promised to resolve this problem when his party will come to power in the next Parliamentary elections.
“The property is one of the most basic issues of our program. It is a burden on the citizens’ shoulders and the government has sinned with the property for the last 20 years. We want to end the problem of the families that have requested their property and have received nothing. If this issue will be resolved, Albania will plunge in darkness”, Rama declared.
The opposition leader accused the political forces of never having dared to give a clear solution to the property issue, which has made many investors to leave.
“The politicians and the government made promises only for the votes. They have lied in a terrible way in the last years. The solutions are there, but they lack of political will”, Rama underlined, by also promising to defend the public property.
“After the fall of the communist regime, the Albanians own still less properties. We want to end the destruction of the public property”, the opposition leader declared.
“The property issue has complicated the situation between families. The relations between men and public or private properties will remain an open wound if it will go on like this. The disaster that is undergoing here is enough for seeing in what situation is the future of Albania”, Rama declared.
The Socialist Party leader visited Vlore earlier, where 900 new members received the SP membership cards.
Mr. Rama mentioned the social problems that the Albanians are facing today, such as poverty, corruption and unemployment, and declared that the allies of this government have the only goal to submit, to keep the people as poor as possible, so that they can threaten them with their food.
