The opposition leader, Edi Rama, met the Albanian emigrants in Austria
at the House of the European Union, where he held a discussion named
“EU, between me and you”.

While promoting “Kurban”, the Socialist leader and the guests discussed his vision about the current political issues, and also answered to the questions related with the property issues, the emigrant’s vote and the January 21st events.

“We have clearly expressed our position on the property issue, starting from the fact that we don’t consider the former owners as such, but as owners. We are solemnly committed to solve the property issue, because this is not a right or left winged problem, but an issue related with justice, on which should be established our entire social coexistence”, Rama declared.

As for the January 21st tragedy, Rama commented Berisha’s declarations, who said that on January 21st, the National Guard forces implemented the law.

“If law was implemented on that day, why did they change the barrels of their guns? Why did they delete the evidence on the server of the Prime Minister’s Office cameras, and why are they obstructing the investigation, by launching barbarian threats to the Prosecution and individual threats to the General Prosecutor? We are committed to create all conditions for making the justice system really independent”, Rama declared.

Rama invited the Albanian emigrants, not only those who were present in the room, but also others, to come and vote in Albania.

“Without the help of the Albanians outside our borders, our country cannot survive to the bad governing that is experiencing today, starting from the simple meaning of the daily economy. You must do everything that you can to come and vote for a better Albania, so that the difference of votes can be such that no theft can help today’s governing power”, Rama declared.
