Linda Rama: Between Family, Work and Albania’s Future The Socialist leader, Edi Rama, declared that the resignation of the
Diber Chief of Police is an alarm bell that should be heard by the
General Prosecutor, the civil society and the international partners.
“The Socialist party will keep its parliamentary battle for uncovering the state crime that has turned our miners into labor slaves”, Rama declared.
Premci: Berisha connected with crime
The former Chief of the Diber Police, Shemsi Prenci, resigned from his duty today and accused the Prime Minister of opening way to crime. According to Premci, Berisha gives democracy lessons during the day and makes way to mafia tyranny by night.
“I used to think that the Prime Minister had learned the expression ‘there is no mafia, but there are criminal caves’ from books, but unfortunately, being in front of the mafia caves in Bulqize, and facing the silence of the high state structures, even from the Prime Minister. I have reported these mafia caves from 1400 meters underground, when I was director of the Special Forces, but these reports have fallen on deaf ears and I have understood the terrible truth. The President has learned about this mafia from inside the caves, not books. I am a democrat and I will always be such, therefore I will abandon in their misery those who lecture the people about law and democracy by day, and that open way to the tyranny of the mafia by night, damaging the poor people”, Premci declared.
Premci accused the General Chief of Police of being directed by the crime. Through this public declaration, the former Chief of Police says that crime won on the police uniform, and that’s why he was obliged to resign.
