The debate between Prime Minister Edi Rama and his predecessor about the
Prime Ministry’s building is still on. Rama has published new photos on
Facebook, showing the state in which he found the Council of Ministers,
after the power rotation.
This time the Prime Minister has published photos of original furniture that according to Rama are getting rotten in the depot, after they were replaced by things bought in the “bazaar of vulgarities”.
“Original furniture of 1940, produced in Italy especially for the Prime Ministry’s office, are getting rotten in depots together with their rare aesthetic and historic value. These and other values have been completely destroyed and replaced by things bought in the bazaar of vulgarities”, Rama declared.
Yesterday former Prime Minister Sali Berisha wrote on Facebook that the government building has been valued by foreign personalities that have visited Tirana, and according to Berisha, everything started to crumble after Rama set foot inside.
