Rama on Freedom House democracy report: Albania with the most positive index in the Western Balkans

Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama through a post on Facebook has reacted regarding the evaluation of the country in the “Freedom House” democracy report, stating that it clearly states that Albania is the country with the most positive index of democratic freedoms in the Western Balkans.

The Prime Minister states that Albania has a 67-point index of democratic freedom.
Serbia, the second country in the regional classification, has recorded a slight regression, passing from 67 to 66, one point below Albania.
Northern Macedonia ranks third, with 63 points, while Montenegro has suffered the largest decline in the region, dropping to 62 points from 65 last year.
Kosovo remains penultimate on the list, but with a two-point improvement (56 points from 54 last year), while Bosnia is in full stagnation, staying in the last place, in terms of democratic freedoms in the region.
