Prime Minister Edi Rama spoke to the media after the end of the parliamentary session in which the special coronavirus situation amendments were approved.
He called the development a good job in favor of the current situation.
“Today a good job has been done in favor of the situation. Today we have filled a gap in the Criminal Code, which was the only Criminal Code in Europe that did not provide anything for an epidemic situation. At this stage we are preparing the process of gradual opening of economic activity and normalization of life as much as possible.
“It was impossible to conceive that we did not have these measures to guarantee the gradual opening, because as we have noticed from the police leaders and the mayors, it is a kind of relaxation which turn into a dangerous phenomenon.
“We have excellent results on the war front in terms of health. Despite the fact that we have lost lives and every life is very precious, but the situation is mistakenly read by some people, who think that this thing is gone, or some others who deal with conspiracy theories”, Rama declared.
