Rama, not only the immunity

“We believe that the constitutional amends for limiting immunity should not be limited only with the immunity, because the wall that defends the corrupted people in Albania is not only the constitutional immunity, but the political power that is suffocating justice. We all know how the big corruption cases have always ended. We are convinced that this is the time for a serious debate, and for a serious constitutional amend”, Rama declared.

According to him, the election of a partial President has increased their conviction that Albania could degrade even more.

“If there is any progress with the integration with the political year that is coming to an end, this is another progress, not that of the law implementation. This progress is related with that part of the recommendations where the opposition has also had a role. The problem of Albania today is not the businessmen who have been elected as MPs in the opposition, but the Prime Minister and the Ministers who became businessmen while being in power. They have stolen for 7 years, more than in 100 years of the Albanian state. All governments altogether have stolen less than this government in these seven years”, Rama declared.
