The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, continued his visit at the Muslim
Community, from where he wished a happy Kurban Bayram, (Eid Al Adha),
to all Muslim believers.
The Prime Minister guaranteed them for the construction of the new mosque, and declared that he and his family were modest donators for the construction of this temple.
“It’s the first time that I come here as a Prime Minister, and I wished a happy Bayram to my friend Selim Muca, and all representatives of the Muslim Community. We spoke about the new mosque and I guaranteed him that we will not have a mosque and an apartment building, but just a mosque. My family and I wil also be modest donators of this temple”, Rama declared.
After the visit, the Mayor of Tirana and leader of the Albanian opposition, Lulzim Basha, declared that the Tirana Municipality has passed its test successfully and not it is up to the government and the Muslim Community to resolve this issue.
“I wish a happy Bayram to every Albanian Muslim in Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and the Presheva Valley, and all the Albanian Diaspora. The construction of the mosque has started, but another decision has stopped them. Now it is up to the Muslim Community and the government to resolve this issue, and I truly hope that the project continues”, Basha declared.
The Parliament Speaker, Ilir Meta, also wished a happy Bayram to all Muslim believers.
Politicians then visited the World Headquarters of the Bektashi religion.
