The report of the European Commission valued the achievements of Albania
in the security area, according to the Interior Minister, Saimir
Tahiri, during a press release.
He said that Albania left the map of countries of origin for drugs. He underlined that in 2015 has been cultivated eight times more drug than in 2013. But the Minister asked for support from the opposition to encourage police in the fight against illegality.
“The opposition and anyone else must support the police and our joint efforts to make Albania a safer country. We are aware that success is not exclusive to the Minister or the government, but to the society. As such, we are ready use it as encouragement to do everythin possible for the police to continue the fight against illegality”, Tahiri said.
