Rama meets the three Ambassadors

The Socialist leader, Edi Rama, held a one hour meeting with the EU
Ambassador, Ettore Sequi, the US Ambassador, Alexander Arvizu, and the
OSCE Ambassador, Eugen Wolfarth.

The discussion focused on the electoral reform. The ambassadors were updated with the Socialist Party stance, which emphasized the necessity of this reform to start as soon as possible.

The meeting was held after the Socialist leader declarations, in which he accused the majority and the Democratic Party of intentionally delaying the electoral reform, with the only goal to manipulate the elections once again.

The significance of the electoral reform was also underlined by the EU Ambassador, Ettore Sequi. The Ambassador reminded the political agreement achieved on November 2011, which softened the political rhetoric between the parties.

“We must do something on behalf of the electoral reform. We held a meeting in which we discussed about the integration process, and in this direction, the electoral reform is very important, for which there was an agreement on November”, Sequi declared.
