The Albanian Socialist leader, Edi Rama, met in Italy the Mayor of
Firenze, with whom he shared the program of the Albanian left parties
for Albania.
“This was a very agreeable meeting. We spoke like two old friends, although we are new friends, because the Tirana-Firenze cooperation has left its marks”, Rama declared after the meeting.
“We presented the plans for building an European left wing party and for pulling Albania out of today’s difficulties. Our programs are very similar”, the Socialist leader added.
The Firenze Mayor, Matteo Renzi, criticized the Italian Lega Nord Party, after the revelation of the scandal for the Albanian fake diploma that Umberto Bossi’s son had taken in a Tirana private university.
“I believe that the Lega Nord in Italy is coming out with the ugliest face. With Umberto Bossi happened what he has said and done in these months: taking money and diamants”, Renzi declared.
“Renzo Bossi has failed three times for the high school maturity test, and then he took a false diploma from Tirana. This is very ugly. Two countries should avoid giving false diplomas. If there were no people like Bossi, it would be better”, the Mayor of the Renaissance City declared.
