Rama meets farmers

“If it goes on like this, we’re finished”. This was the clear message
that the opposition leader, Edi Rama, received from agricultural goods
salesmen in Lushnje.
They confirmed the dramatic decrease of the buying power, to which is added the high price of oil, of chemicals and all other agricultural inputs in general.
All farmers raised concerns about the increased prices of oil, chemicals and seeds.
The SP leader, Edi Rama, promised to realize the five solutions for the farmers that are part of the Albanian Rebirth program.
“We want to bring five times more agricultural finances. Secondly, we would guarantee irrigation, because that’s where the problem starts. The lack of an irrigation and drainage system is a problem. Thirdly, we will remove the excise on Oil and the circulation tax. We will also remove the VAT on waste materials, we will reduce the VAT of seeds, and we will guarantee a market by specifying the production in regions, because there is no other solution”, Rama declared.
