Rama meets Durres farmers

The lacking of irrigation system, high taxes and expensive oil that create obstacles for putting the domestic products into the market was the main issue discussed between Rama and the farmers. The Socialist leader visited a vineyard, where they discussed the production cost, which according to the farmers is higher than the production. This makes the owner discuss the continuity of the activity.

The SP leader, Edi Rama, guaranteed that the program “For an Albanian Rebirth” is focused on the Albanian countryside.

“The government of today has abandoned farmers. The solution of the irrigation problem, the reduction of the production cost by lowering the input tax and by removing the oil excise, and the creation of the possibilities to put the product in the market, will make the agriculture and the Albanian farmer to win their economic rebirth back”, Rama declared.
