Albania will keep be committed in the fight against terrorism and
promoting world democracy side by side with the United States of
America.
This was the message that Prime Minister Edi Rama gave to the United States State Department for Europe and Asia, Victoria Nuland.
The Prime Minister’s office announces that part of the discussion in New York was the matter of the relations between the United States and Albania.
Mrs. Nuland, accompanied by Mr.Philip Reeker, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State, congratulated Prime Minister Rama for the deep victory in the June 23rd elections and wished him success in the new duty.
Prime Minister Rama thanked Mrs.Nuland for the constant support of the United States of America to Albania, and updated him with the progress of Albania’s European Union integration path.
Prime Minister Rama expressed Albania’s commitment to the United States State Department for the constant support to the United States of America, in the joint war against corruption and promoting democracy in the world.
