The meeting of the Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, with his Chinese
Counterpart, Li Keqiang, focused on encouraging joint projects and
making them concrete.
The Prime Minister’s press office says “Rama updated the Chinese counterpart with the progress of four important infrastructure projects, thanks to the understanding agreement between the Albanian government and the Pacific construction company.
PM Rama valued as very important the signing between the Transportation Ministers of Albania, Montenegro and the President of Pacific Construction, for building the Blue Corridor. Bosnia and Croatia will be part of this agreement as interested parties.
The press release says another important moment of cooperation was the finalization of the negotiations for the Arber Road, and the Chinese support for the new Industrial Park at the Durres Economic Area. PM Keqiang promised to encourage the involvement of many Chinese companies. This park will create 30.000 new jobs.
PM Li Keqiang has declared that the government of China is ready to support the developmentn of the port infrastructure of Albania.
