Rama: “Judiciary reform needed to stop corrupted courts from abusing with properties”

The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, met this Tuesday with business
representatives and discussed how Vetting Law is tied to the property
titles that have been wrongly administered by Courts so far.
Rama accused the judiciary institutions of damaging the state and the country by changing owners of many properties through corruption.
“There have been cases when Courts have not recognized a legal owner and the property has been robbed at the Court of Appeal. These abusive cases damage the state too. A property that belonged to the state, has been robbed by individuals through corrupted courts”, Rama said.
