Rama introduces “Revival” in Fier

“The Revival Program will encourage the economic aid program and employment. With a 50 million USD package we will realize a financing package for increasing employment”, Rama declared.

The Socialist leader added that SP has been working for a long time with its program, and have treated every detail for developing the country, which, according to the SP, needs a new economic model. Rama promised to remove VAT and lower many other taxes.

“The Prime Minister talks about economy, but he doesn’t mention Albania’s social ruin. The Socialist Party was committed to create a detailed program. Our country needs to change its development model. In 2012 we submitted to the Albanian Parliament the initiative to remove VAT”, Rama declared, adding that besides this initiative, the Socialists will also remove the flat tax, which the opposition considers an unjust that is a burden for 95% of the Albanians.

As for the recent trade disagreements with Kosovo, Rama declared that the two countries will unify the customs service in order to avoid similar problems.

Other SP leaders spoke at the regional conference. The public order program was introduced by MP Saimir Tahiri.

“Crime is one step before the state. Crimes rates are skyrocketing while the police are unable to do anything because it is corrupted. Murders and robberies have turned into a daily phenomenon”, Tahiri declared.

The Socialist MP declared that this act is a clear pressure of the state that is trying to shut his voice and that of all Socialists who report government corruption.

“None of us will be intimidated by the Prime Minister’s attacks. Berisha will not be able to escape justice after June 23rd”, Tahiri declared.

Tahiri added that the Socialist Party will provide shelter and employment for the relatives of the fallen police officers.
