The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, together with the Minister of
Social Welfare, Erjon Veliaj, introduced in Fier the fund for
encouraging employment in one of the companies that are benefiting.
According to the Prime Minister, the fund for 2015 has four times bigger, if compared with the past government.
“There is a special fund for encouraging employment. It will be given to those who are looking for a job and to companies. This is our approach, to see how we can make it not only in bad weather, but also when the son comes out. 361 companies benefited from this service in 2014 and employed 4000 job seekers. The fund for this year is twice bigger”, Rama declared.
Minister Veliaj invited businesses to hire more residents from the flooded areas, and they will receive a bonus from the employment encouragement fund.
“The fund mounts to more than 1 million USD, 20% of the fund for Albania”, he said.
According to the Minister of Social Welfare, the 4.5 million USD fund for encouraging employment will be given to those companies that hire from different categories. Veliaj explained that the fund for encouraging employment is made of six different programs, by subventioning the employer with the social insurance payment for one year, and four salaries for every employed worker.
