Rama in Kuwait, discusses trade cooperation

On his first day of visit in Kuwait, the Albanian Prime Minister, Edi
Rama, attended meetings with the highest representatives of this
country.
Rama was received by Sheik Al-Sabah in an official ceremony. Th Prime Minister’s Press Office says that both leaders discussed the encouragement of economic cooperation between the two countries, especially in tourism and water management.
Rama updated the Kuwaiti counterpart with the reforms of the Albanian government and the potential of our country for attracting foreign investors.
The Albanian Foreign Minister and the Minister of Economic Development and Trade signed four agreements for cooperation and development of industrial exports, for protecting the environment, preserving the natural resources and having a stable cooperation in the health system. They also signed an agreement for removing visa for diplomatic passport holders.
Rama was then welcomed by the Crown Prince, his highness Sheik Nawaf al-Sabaj and the Parliament Speaker of Kuwait.
