A few minutes after the official deadline for closing poll stations,
Prime Minister Edi Rama thanked from social media everyone who was part
of the process.
“I want to thank everyone who trusted the candidates of the Alliance for European Albania”, Rama declared.
“Today was voted the big reform, a new administrative organization of the Albanian state, which, from tomorrow, will be a more modern one. Today was realized a historic decision that equalizes the number of women with men in the local councils. Today was decided an equal status of civility between residents of cities and villages. This is a new era of relations between the families who live in villages and the local government”, the Prime Minister declared.
