20 new ambulances were brought for the regional hospitals of the entire
country, as an investment of the Health Ministry for modernizing the
system.

The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, was updated with the new project of “The Consultative Center”, which will welcome 300 patients a day.

“It is the first time that this service is being offered at the Tirana University Hospital Center. It will serve as a model to be applied in the regional hospitals, so that various necessary diagnoses can be done in the same building”, declared the Director of the Tirana University Hospital Center, Ogerta Manastriliu.

The Tirana University Hospital Center has started the construction of the lineary acelerators for the Ontological Hospital, which will improve the cures of tumors. The Health Minister, Ilir Beqaj, said that these investments are an important part of our promises for opening new sites in the healthcare.

“This is part of those important investments to reinforce our capacities”, Beqja declared.

“The battle for the health care is a basic priority of our government, a basic priority of the Revival program, and an effort that we will make everyday, every night. 16 months are not enough to turn a ruined platform into a complete success story. The changes that we have brought in these 16 months are real. The changes are concrete, here and in other hospitals of Albania”, Rama declared.

The Prime Minister called the opposition’s constant accusations against the Health institutions as cynical.
