The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, personally explained to the
Shkoder residents who are affected by the building of the new Stadium,
that the expropriated families will receive the money before the
intervention is done.
“We have invested a huge amount of money to build an international stadium in Shkoder. It was not to simply have a stadium, but an international one, having it in the list of UEFA”, Rama said.
The Prime Minister answered to the residents of Nenshkoder, who protested for the compensation of the floods caused in 2010, after the Energy Corporation opened the dam water on their properties.
“Everything that is included in the inventory by the former government will be taken in consideration. We carried that debt on our shoulder, because the former government who caused it had not paid anything”, Rama said.
