Linda Rama: Between Family, Work and Albania’s Future Vlore was the next stop of the Socialist leader, Edi Rama, for his
membership campaign. 900 young FRESSH members took the membership cards
at the Socialist Party.
Mr. Rama mentioned the social problems that the Albanians are facing today, such as poverty, corruption and unemployment, and declared that the allies of this government have the only goal to submit, to keep the people as poor as possible, so that they can threaten them with their food.
“When I was coming to Vlore, it was impossible for me to not think that I was coming from a road that was built by the Austrians, one century ago. On the 100th anniversary of Independence, the Albanians still don’t have a European road to travel to the city of independence. For this reason I told the Mayor that on 27 November we will send 16 horses to the government, so that they can travel to Vlore for celebrating the Independence Day, because it is still the same road that was built by the Austrians. The Mayor agreed, but he added that we should watch out and not letting our horses get stolen”, Rama declared.
In order for the poverty, unemployment and closed doors from the government, the young Vlora people and all Albanians should fight for bringing a change, and not wait.
“You must have heard that our program is called ‘For an Albanian Rebirth’ and I can say that the ‘Albanian Rebirth’ is not just a title for our program, but a vision for our joint road. The program is the intstrument that will enable us opening this way for all common people of this country who deserve a real Albanian rebirth. Albania is the country of every one, not only of a group of people”, Rama declared.
