Rama: Government favors poverty and corruption

The opposition leader, Edi Rama, visited the town of Lezhe where he
invited the citizens to support the Socialist Party for improving their
life and public services.

Rama declared that the Berisha government favors poverty and further corruption, because it is easier for the current government to intimidate and make people desperate, by obliging them to fight every minute for survival, rather than letting them space to reflect.

“If you have no jobs, what are you waiting for and not guarantee the change that punishes the ones who have left you unemployed, and that opens way to another alternative for real jobs, rather than increased unemployment? If you cannot hold anymore the burden of high prices and fees in the private and public sector, what are you waiting for? Remove from power the ones who make people that earn less to pay more, and those who earn more to pay less. Make way for the program that guarantees the contrary. If you cannot go to hospitals because you are unemployed, when you cannot receive a doctor’s advice or when you cannot sent an elder relative to hospital, because you are not insured, and the state obliges you to pay the hospital services 4 to 5 times more than two years ago, then you should make way to a new politics for the public health and services, for a state that offers these services to the people in need, and not only to the ones who can afford them”, Rama declared.

The Socialist leader distributed the new membership cards in Lezhe, by increasing the new memberships throughout Albania, according to the Socialist headquarters.

“We will not replace this government with another one like this, these ministers with other ones like these, these MPs with other ones like these, but we will change Albania and the situation of every common family”, Rama declared.
