Rama: Don’t fall prey to pressure

While meeting the citizens of the Municipal Unit no.5, at the area of
“Former Block”, the Mayor of Tirana, Edi Rama, appealed the citizens to
not fear the pressure that have been made to the administration
employees, to the teachers, policemen and even soldiers of the National
Guard, because the vote is secret.

“The entire purpose of these pressures is only to discourage, to frighten people, because the vote is secret and no one can control it. All those that have been threatened, must understand that now they have one more reason to vote the Alliance for the Future”, Rama said.

Sat with the citizens at a bar of this area, Rama did not spare the irony against the promises of Jeta Seitaj’s rival.

“The citizens know very well what hides behind the smile of Eleonora, who says that tomorrow all of us will wake up happier. For the dreams to become reality there is only one way. The way of real sacrifices and hard work”, Rama said.

After meeting the citizens, Rama inaugurated 23 new buses added to the Tirana-Sauk line, while promising to add two other lines for the Albanian Capital.

“We are waiting May 8th to liberate the City Council, in order to bring new buses of European standards for the Kombinat-Kinostudio line”, Rama said.

The new buses with zero mileage, air conditioning, security cameras, dedicated lanes and cheap tickets will make the public transport, according to Rama, the most preferred means of travel in the city, reducing the environmental pollution.
