Rama: Crime out of control

“The territory of our country is outside the police control. The police is betrayed, abandoned and ruined. The Interior Ministry gives murder news as it was a press agency, holds conferences against the opposition or organizes homage ceremonies for police officers killed one after another, as if they were a funeral home. Three Police chiefs were killed, and no measures were taken to revive the law enforcers. Every time that we raise this concern, the government reacts brutally. Their problem is the opposition, not the crime”, Rama declared.

Rama asked the Socialist MPs at the Commission of Laws to work harder for the draft-laws against arms, saying that the recent law for arming officials and businessmen is absurd in a time when criminality is peaking.

Same as in the past meetings of the Parliamentary Group, Edi Rama accused Prime Minister Berisha that they are copying their program.

“It has been some time now that the government makes the opposition of the opposition. They go after our program, copy our ideas but they are unable to implement them. Berisha has become like those footballers who go after the feet, not after the ball”, Rama declared.

Dogjani accuses Rama

The Socialist Party MP, Asllan Dogjani, declared that the requests made by the SP branch in Kukes regarding the new appointments have fallen in deaf ears.

“We waited for the party leader to reflect, but he keeps holding the same position and in Kukes we still have the same situation, despite the pressures made by the members. This has nothing to do with my candidacy. The problem is to respect the democratic values and principles, the voting principles. We want the Kuksian Socialists to be heard, not to see them manipulated and violated. I have communicated with them and they are looking forward to the day when they can benefit, because they have been very poor for the last eight years”, Dogjani declared.
