Mayor of Tirana, Edi Rama, continued his electoral campaign at Lapraka, emphasizing the transformation that, according to him, the local administration has achieved in this area.

“We are happy for what we have achieved in Lapraka, which has undergone a radical transformation that enables Lapraka families to feel part of Tirana at any form. They feel as citizens of the Albanian capital, which now has fully integrated Lapraka with streets, lights and green spaces. The renewed transportation now enables the connection of Lapraka with the center of Tirana in a matter of minutes”, Rama declared.

He said that the Tirana Municipality investments have turned Lapraka into the second center of Tirana.

The Mayor underlined that his administration policy does not make distinctions between the citizens, different to the governing party, which, according to him, punishes anyone who has different political convictions.

“We have a totally new European policy for a civil coexistence that does not separate the citizens into blue and red, with us or against us, but that brings them together under the flag of public interest, which is the model of the future of development”, Rama declared.

The Socialist Party leader accused the government of extorting businesses through high taxes with the fiscal tax initiation, while the Socialist Party, according to him, offers another alternative.

“This is the big distinction between their way and our way, which is the way of cooperation with every citizen”, Rama underlined, inviting the citizens to vote on May 8th the “way of change”.

“We have today 1 million of unemployed people in Albania, injustice and poverty. Each day, more citizens get fired from their jobs and face high prices, while the government’s pockets thicken more each day.  On May 8th let us vote and open the way to development and prosperity”, Rama added, also announcing Nasim Asllani as the candidate for Lapraka’s municipal unit.

“He is the successful director of the radical transformation that we achieved on the field that distributed poison all over Tirana, which today produces energy for the entire city. We do not need foreign waste materials. All we need is to process our own as it should”, Rama declared.
