Rama: Berisha is violating media

The Socialist leader, Edi Rama, reacted after the Central Election Commission’s decision for blocking two SP campaign ads.
He accused Prime Minister Berisha of ordering CEC to block opposition’s ads by violating the media and the right to information.
“When you say ‘CEC’, you have said ‘Berisha’. When you say ‘Berisha’, you have said ‘CEC’. Berisha decided to block our TV ads, which, according to Berisha, tell things that the Albanians should not hear. The Albanians, according to Berisha, should not hear that Albania has 1 million of unemployed people, has corruption, poverty and injustice. CEC, meaning Berisha, did not approve the penalties proposed by the MMB, meaning Berisha. But the threat is clear and direct. They are telling these televisions to be careful with the SP ads, because they could be fined with a lot of money, because their freedom of speech could cost them a lot”, Rama declared.
