At the Municipal Division nr.9 neighborhood, Edi Rama, Mayor of Tirana, met local residents, merchants and bystanders.
“On May 8th, vote for us so that we can continue building roads, installing lamp posts, planting trees and stopping the corrupted thieves”, Rama said during his meetings.
Accompanied by the Socialist candidate for this municipal division, Armond Halebi, and Socialist deputy Eduard Shalsi, Mr. Rama reminded the failures of the government and of Prime Minister Berisha towards the Albanians of Tirana and of the nation.
“No money? The money is on the book of corruption. They should give that corruption book up, otherwise they will spend all of our money on political banners”, Rama said.
Considering Prime Minister Berisha as the man of regress, of false promises and of innumerous frauds, the Mayor of Tirana did not spare his irony against his adversary even today. He told an anecdote that mentioned the former American President George W. Bush and Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi.
Considering the Socialist alternative as the only way, Mr. Rama emphasized that Tirana’s citizens, like all Albanians, must use their vote to give a strong response to the Prime Minister Berisha and his entire escort, which, according to him, is robbing at every corner of Albania.
