Rama at Mifoli bridge, appeals citizens to follow evacuation instructions

The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, accompanied by the Ministry of Defense, Olta Xhacka; the Minister of Agriculture, Niko Peleshi; Chief of Police, Haki Cako; Fier Mayor, Armando Subashi, traveled to the Mifoli Bridge, in Fier, one of the most critical areas.
Rama said that they expect the Vjosa River to get even more problematic. He asked residents to follow the evacuation instructions: “The Minsitry of Culture, Infrastructure and Health are engaged to save people’s lives and cattle, and then we will make a balance and efforts for repair”, Rama said.
The Prime Minister added that the authorities had been warned about the situation and they are prepared and standing by. He thanked the opposition leader for interrupting the Parliamentary session.
