The Albanian Prime Minister started his official visit in Serbia,
marking a historic moment for our countries, since this is the first
time in 68 years that an Albanian leader visits Serbia.

The Albanian Prime Minister was received at Belgrade’s airport by the Serbian Foreign Minister, Ivica Dacic.

No Albanian flags were seen from the airport to Belgrade, by they were waving in the city’s center.

Then Rama was received in the center of Belgrade by Prime Minister Alexandar Vucic, with an official ceremony. At 12:15 was planned the press conference of both Prime Ministers.

Top Channel’s journalist, Idro Seferi, declared that there are 200 journalists who are following this historic event, and 3000 police officers to guarantee security.

The Prime Ministers of both countries are expected to sign three agreements, one for the customs, so that Albanians and Serbs can travel with only identity cards, and one for youth cooperation. However, there have been no official statements about this.

Rama is expected to visit the Belgrade Municipality, where he will meet Mayor Sinisha Mali, with whom he will have an informal conversation.

Rama will visit Presheva this Tuesday, where he will meet the Albanian leaders. He will also meet citizens at the Palace of Culture.

The Serbian media have paid attention to Rama’s visit in Presheva, after the Serbian Minister, Ivica Dacic, declared that the problem is not the visit, but the message that it will transmit.
