Linda Rama: Between Family, Work and Albania’s Future It seems that the warm weather was a good reason for the Opposition’s
leader to have a long coffee with the MP Ben Blushi, one of the critical
voices of the Socialist Party.
This meeting lasted for two hours and was full of smiles between the two Socialist MPs who haven’t been together in public for a long time. The meeting was held on the verge of the publishing of their two books.
In fact, the books were exactly the cause of this meeting. The MPs exchanged mutual invitations among each other.
Rama’s and Blushis’ publishings were commented in distance by Prime Minister Berisha, by accusing Rama that he is copying Blushi’s line, who has continued the political career by not abandoning his books.
The protagonists of the Berisha’s latest declarations left no comment, but considered it as a coffee among friends.
But Rama hasn’t resisted from a message on Twitter, saying:
“With those who read and write, or with those who kill? This is the choice”
The relations between Rama and Blushi have been bumpy in the last two years. Blushi has been an open critic to the line followed by the Socialist leadership after the elections of 2009, especially for the Parliamentary boycott.
But this debate has calmed down this year, and it seems that the two politicians have restored a lot, in friendship and political relations too.
