Rama agrees to meet Basha. DP has reserves

Edi Rama and Lulzim Basha have agreed in principle to meet in a dialogue
table, for which the US Ambassador, Donald Lu, has been working for
several days.

Channel learned that Prime Minister Rama was the first one to agree, something he also confirmed in Parliament: “I am ready to sit and talk. I have been waiting for the time and the place for two days, although I would prefer to talk at the tent”, Rama said.

But the meeting is not taking place, since the Democratic Party leader Lulzim Basha is suspicious about the seriousness of Edi Rama. Basha warned this Wednesday that he was against dialogue just for show.

“We will never allow dialogue for dirty bargains between some opposition and majority politicians”, Basha said.

Sources from Basha’s staff say that this meeting should not be like the one held on June 6th, for the judiciary reform, which resulted into a meeting just for show and with no results.
