Railway with Albania

The Ministry of Finances in Skopje has announced the tender for the
preparation of a detailed project about the railway from Kercova,
Macedonia, to the border with Albania, part of Corridor 8 Project.
The distance will be 63 km, and there will be an electric driven railway. The preparation phase had funds from the EU, and the budget limit is 8 million EUR.
The tender participants will come only from the EU states, EU member states and the countries included in the project. The entire tender will be given to only one company or consortium.
The auction will be held on March 12th 2013, where the companies will participate only with one detailed proposition. The last deadline is 24 months.
