Quarries threat Ura Vajgurore residents

The Ura Vajgurore neighborhoods have been under constant threat by the quarries and their working sites.
The most endangered is the Gur i Bardhe neighborhood, with more than 3000 residents. The companies that open the quarries increase each year in this area. The Chairman of the Municipality Council, Ibrahim Sade, has presented several projects at the council for stopping the environmental massacre, but the propositions have not been approved or the council members have boycotted.
“We have been engaged for a solution, because the noise and the dust are a real problem for the three thousand residents”, Sade declared.
The noises and dust are the main problem of the residents, a situation that damages their health.
The Ura Vajguore issue is not being resolved even by the central institutions and the local government. The exploiters have won above any law.
