Puke Chief of Police sued

The Ombudsman raised public accusations against the Puke Chief of
Police, declaring that the police is also to blame for the conflict of
the Qelez village families, where two persons died and several others
were wounded.

After an administrative investigation, according to the Ombudsman, one of the victim relatives had reported to the Police that their neighbors were armed and were threatening to kill them. But Police took no measures to this report.

“We proved that the stance of the Puke Police was illegal. Their failure to act has brought as consequence the death of two people and has damaged the health of some others”, declared the Ombudsman’s spokesperson.

After this investigation, the Ombudsman recommended the Puke Police to open the case against the Chief of Police for power abuse. He also asked the Court to suspend him until the investigations are over.

The General Chief of Police, Burgaj, asked a special analysis for this event and disciplinary measures against the involved police agents.
